CO2 emissions are becoming an increasingly heavy burden for organisations to bear and are more and more difficult to hide. Like in any efficient diet, unless one visits a doctor for a weight loss check every time, it is difficult to lose weight and track improvements without an accurate scale.
The Belgian cleantech start-up D-Carbonize provides this weight scale with its platform CARBON COCKPIT with the ambition to break the dependency of organisations on external carbon experts to measure their CO2 emissions. It integrates the necessary tool for CSR and ESG professionals to efficiently reach their carbon reduction targets. CARBON COCKPIT offers complete features allowing for the organizations’ full autonomy, accurate results, clear reports, and comprehensive forecasts of their carbon footprint. CARBON COCKPIT is an easy-to-use management tool to calculate and monitor carbon emissions through ergonomic reports. The CARBON COCKPIT calculation algorithm is based on the Bilan Carbone® and Greenhouse Gas Protocol standards. It includes a database of more than 5000 emission factors. This product is a professional tool for CO2 professionals.

• Advanced reporting & analytics – Provides access to analytical graphs and infographics to have a complete understanding of organization’s carbon footprint.
• Consolidate & extract – Merges multiple CO2, footprint into custom groups and extracts specific data related to a particular product/service.
• Audit & full Scopes – Measures and reports on 3 scopes (scope 1, 2 & 3). The calculation algorithm uses the international standards Bilan Carbon® and Greenhouse Gas Protocol to ensure accurate and detailed reports.
• Multi-entities, multi-users and multi-year – Manages, consolidates and reports on multiple entities (BU, countries, factories) on as many years as necessary. Provides functionality for involving of colleagues for data collection and sharing of CO2 insights across the organization.
• Benchmark, equivalent & comparison – Provides functionality for comparing of the organization’s result with its peers with a benchmark including 12 different industries. Carbon calculator measures the CO2 impact of a product.
• Professional input form – Provides access to the 5000+ emission factors from ADEME & GHG Protocol, and opportunity for work as much in detail as recommended by the standard. Custom emissions factors can be used to elevate the accuracy level of organization’s reports.
